Best Cheap Expedition Watch Band

This replacement watch band is not even close in quality to the original watch band that was on the Timex watch.

It's hard to tell from the pictures but the watch band is mostly leather but on a nylon base that started fraying immediately as the other reviewer indicated. The previous Timex watch band I had was all leather and lasted for about 2 years. I recommend that you do not buy this product.

I got this strap with my Timex Expedition compass watch, and both the leather and the stitching is very poor quality. Initially, it was only one of the band straps that fell apart, but it quickly fell apart further to where I had to replace it due to the strap just falling off my watch. I recommend you do an Amazon search for "Voguestrap olive sport strap" for an excellent replacement watch band.

I just want to say that i received the watch band exactly as advertised. I've worn it for a month and it is comfortable and performing excellent. It is a perfect replacement to the OEM band that I wore out. Additionally, I am a military person stationed overseas and I appreciate Amazon willing to ship priority mail to APO addresses. Great job all around.

When I got the Timex Q7B793 watchband, i started working on putting it on my watch right away (16mm). The first few tries i ended up hurting my thumb. It is very complicated thanks to the spring-loaded ends, that are awful by the way. Also, after i took out two links it was still pretty big, so i adjusted the clasp and it was still pretty loose around my wrist. I like to have variety of watchbands so i don't get bored with the same one and this one was a pain to use and to take off the watch.

I'd been searching for the exact replacement for my EXPEDITION TIMEX WOMEN'S Watch - THIS IS IT! It's beautiful and I'm thrilled to have it looking like new. Please don't hesitate if you have the EXPEDITION. ALSO - they sent 2 PINS that were better and stronger than my original ones. I bought 12mm and it fits exactly. You can find the size easily - there are charts online to print out.

I have an old, metal case Timex IronMan from the mid '90s. I've been through two batteries and it's still running strong, even after being banged around and submerged in the pool for 15 years. The band finally went and this was the only one that I could find for it. It's a little narrow for the case, but it fits like a glove. I probably should stock up because replacement parts for my watch are dissapearing faster than they wear out.

This is the easiest to use , most comfortable watchband I've ever owned. It allows the watch to stay in place without slippage due to sweating. Amazon was the only place I could find it easily without doing extensive searching. If you own a Timex Expedition watch, buy one today!

I had a very nice gold watch with a Roman numeral faceplate, but the old worn-out leather strap did not do it justice. Now, with this band, the watch looks magnificent. Make sure that you accurately measure the width of the old watch strap, and don't forget, these replacement expansion straps are specified in centimeters. I used the pins that came with the new band. They seem to be much easier to handle and snap in place than the original pins. The tools from a watch repair kit, also offered on the Amazon website, are helpful to install the pins, but not absolutely required. A thin-edged tool and strong fingernails will often suffice.

I've always liked Expedition bands because they are a quality band that will definitely take a beating. The last one I had lasted for years, but may have lasted longer had it been a one-piece band similar to this one. Along the back of the band, the part that sets against the back of your wrist, is soft and doesn't chafe your skin. The lengthier part of the band is where the Velcro attaches itself also has a soft texture and will attract some amount of lint and small bits of hair, but can be easily cleaned.The metal loop the strap goes through is solid metal, not some cheap plastic, and is firmly sewn in. The elasticized part, which loops through the pins is also firmly sewn in and I have no doubt it will hold up well. The only problem I had was that it was a bit difficult to remove the pins and get the strap it. It did take a few minutes, but once the job was complete the watch was firmly in place. This watchband will take a lot of abuse, is very sharp looking, functional, and should last a long time. Just make sure that when you are selecting an Expedition band, make sure it is a Timex band because there are a lot that say they "fit" an Expedition watch, but aren't one. This one IS an Expedition band.

I've had this band on my watch for a month or so now, and it's holding up well (and I'm hard on watch bands). Also, it's worth noting that I have small wrists and this band still has holes close enough to the watch for me.

I needed a replacement for my Timex Expedition watch and this fit the bill The band is sturdy, attractive and the price can't be beat. If you need a casual leather brown band for your Expedition this is it.

I like the band very much. Well made. Material is better than the original band. Easy to install, pins were included.
